Do I need to sign a contract?
There is no long-term contract to sign. BillFlash operates month-to-month and you may cancel at any time.
Is there a cancellation fee?
There is no additional cancellation fee.
How is my first bill determined?
Your first bill will include a postage deposit based on your estimated monthly statement volume.
- Your Estimated Volume x Current Postage Rate = Postage Deposit
- If you decide to cancel, your postage deposit will be refunded
Do I need to purchase software?
There is no software to purchase or install assuming you already have Lytec – that’s all you need.
How much do color statements cost versus black and white statements?
There is no additional charge to use the standard B&W format and color statements are optional at 1-cent per page. The B&W paper and print quality is the same – just no color. You can also make this choice as you send your statements. The new BillFlash interface allows you to specify statements that are sent in color versus B&W. For example, if one specific patient has a delinquent account balance, you could choose a red statement for that patients and B&W for everyone else.
Are return envelopes included?
Yes, each patient statement includes a return envelope at no additional charge.
What kind of support is included?
There is no training, technical support or setup fee. Just ask your questions. We will show you how to create and upload your Lytec statements to your BillFlash account. If you don’t get it right that first time, we will show you again.
Is there a monthly minimum?
There is a 50 statement monthly minimum, i.e., if during any given month you send less than 50 statements – you will still be charged for 50 statements.
How often can I submit patient statements?
It does not matter how many times you submit statements. You can submit statements as often as you like. Your monthly bill is based on total monthly statement volume, not how many times you upload statements.
Does BillFlash work with other practice management software?
