We get a lot of questions about BillFlash so here are the answers to some of the more frequently asked questions:
- There is no long-term contract to sign. Yes, you read that correctly, BillFlash operates month-to-month and you may cancel at any time.
- There is no additional cancellation fee.
- Your first bill will include a postage deposit based on your estimated monthly statement volume.
- Your Estimated Volume x Current Postage Rate = Postage Deposit
- If you decide to cancel, your postage deposit will be refunded.
- There is no software to purchase or install. Assuming you already have Lytec – that’s all you need.
- Color statements are optional at 1 cent per page.
- There is no additional charge to use the standard B&W format.
- The B&W paper and print quality is the same – just no color.
- You can also make this choice as you send your statements
- Our new BillFlash interface allows you to specify statements that are sent color vs B&W. So for example if one specific patient has a delinquent account balance you could choose a Red statement for that patient and B&W for everyone else. In this example you would pay an extra penny/page just for that one patient.
- Each patient statement includes a return envelope. This is not an additional charge.
- We will show you how to create and upload your Lytec statements to your BillFlash account. If you don’t get it right the first time, we will show you again.
- We will provide you with the necessary Lytec statement formats at no additional charge.
- There is no training or setup fee.
- There is no technical support fee for BillFlash. Just ask your question.
- There is a 50 statement monthly minimum i.e. if during any given month you send less than 50 statements – you will still be charged for 50 statements.
- It does not matter how many times you submit statements. You can submit statements as often as you like. Your monthly bill is based on total monthly statement volume, not how many times you upload statements.
- It is not our intent to mislead you in any way regarding any aspect of BillFlash. In fact, we want you to understand BillFlash. We are so confident that you will enjoy using BillFlash to process your Lytec patient statements that we are willing to earn your business every month.
